GYROKINESIS® in The Practice Room
Andrea will be diving into GYROKINESIS® as a practice to nourish, inspire, restore, reconnect and realign ourselves to a joyful, sensuous, undulating and grateful human experience. Images of nature and cosmos will support our journey as expansive, breathing, intentional, expressive, fun-loving, caring beings. By moving in circling, spiraling and wave like pathways we will gently and rhythmically soften, support and nourish our bodies, cultivating restoration, mobility and overall well being through the harmonization of body systems, sensations and energy channels. These sessions begin seated and evolve to some floor work and standing explorations. If you have a yoga mat, please bring one along.

New work: Sarah Chase in collaboration with Judy Luo and Andrea Nann
“Last February I began working with Andrea and Judy on a duet for the two of them. The work in progress was shown at Dreamwalker’s “Leap With Us” event on February 29, 2024. This summer we continued to create in Vancouver at Morrow studio, and on Hornby Island. I am so inspired by Judy and Andrea, who move in unusual synchronized harmony…two generations of deeply realized dancers. Stories of Judy’s recent return to her family in China intermingling with Andrea‘s own family experience. I am finding that their gestures act as both travelogue and emotional slideshow.” - Sarah Chase

IN THE COMMUNITY
Niagara Parks
We celebrate Dreamwalker Phil Davis, who, among his many other projects and initiatives, was recently filming for the Indigenous Song and Dance Exhibition at Niagara Park’s Flying Theatre. He filmed at the Landscape of Nations Commemorative Memorial, a memorial which is:
“Dedicated to the Haudenosaunee (Six Nations) Confederacy and Indigenous allies that participated in the War of 1812. The Landscape of Nations Memorial affirms the proper place of First Nations peoples at the core of Canadian history and signals their ongoing role in contemporary life and national affairs.”
For those who have not yet been, all are invited and encouraged to visit the Memorial, located in Queenston Heights Park (14184 Niagara River Pkwy, Niagara-on-the-Lake).
